toxic amounts can be absorbed. Decontaminate affected clothing and shoes. |
| For Eyes: |
Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Hold eyelids apart to ensure complete rinsing of the entire surface of
the eye and lids with water. If irritation persists, Get Medical Attention. |
Section 9 Occupational Control Procedures
| Ventilation: |
Use with adequate ventilation. Working solution should not
present any specific hazard. If misted or aerosol generated, local or
mechanical exhaust recommended to maintain the vapour concentration below
TLV. This level should not be reached under normal working conditions. |
| Respiratory Protection: |
Not required under normal working/use conditions. |
| Eye Protection: |
Not normally required. Use if mist will get into the eyes in specific
applications. |
| Skin Protection: |
Gloves are recommended for handling chemical products. |
| Personal Hygiene: |
As in handling any detergent, wash thoroughly after use. |
Section 10 Precautions for Safe Handling Storage and Use
| Precautionary Measures: |
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact of concentrate
with skin. Avoid breathing misted vapours. Use with adequate ventilation.
Do not store at elevated temperatures. |
| Spills Clean-up Procedures: |
Concentrated materials are packed in 650 ml sachets limiting any spills
to very small quantities. Paper towelling or mopping is sufficient. |
| Disposal Method: |
Bottles should be rinsed out when product is diluted for use and then
disposed of in normal waste. |
General Note about Solo Pak Products
Solo Pak ShowerBrite formulation is similar to other commercial and domestically
available shower cleaning products. The chamber bottle system used for packaging
ShowerBrite into small packs (650 ml in this case) limits the amount of exposure
of the concentrate to very small amounts. Spills can be cleaned up with paper
towelling or by mopping. We know of no serious hazards associated with the
proper use and handling of this product. Concentrate is diluted in normal
use 1:7.7 (ie. 1 measure 650ml to 5000ml in a Stock Bottle with water).
Solo Pak makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness
or reliability of this information, except that such information is, to the
best of Solo Pak’s knowledge and belief, accurate as of 6 September 2002.
